CMA Meeting

So today I headed to my very first Christian Motorcyclists Association (CMA) Meeting.  It was a great experience.  There were about 25 motorcyclists from all walks of life.  The coolest thing was how they handled the prayer time.  We first went over last months prayer requests and got updates on them.  We then stood and circled up and held hands and went over praises and new prayer requests.  After each prayer request was brought up someone prayed for it.  So let me set the stage for you, around 25 bikers stood in a Chick-fil-a holding hands praying to the Creator.  Wow!  I literally got chills.  It was awesome.  I am really looking forward to being involved with this organization especially since their mission is evangelism to bikers.

On a side note I got to put some miles on the bike today.  Between riding to and from the CMA meeting, to Dairy Dream in Albany and then taking the kids for some rides it was over 150 miles.  It is so relaxing to be on the bike.  This morning on my way to the CMA meeting I was listening to my MP3 player.  I got to listen to some great worship music.  I was singing the whole way.  I am sure other people heard me.  It was a great time to be with God.  That is the best part of riding for me, that time to just hang out with God.  I get to sing to Him and talk with Him.  We all need to find that place to really spend time with God.  It is pivotal to a strong Christian life.  I pray that all of us are able to find that place.

Look for God in everything…
